About Department:

                   The Department of Commerce has Specialization in Advanced Accountancy & Auditing which is affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur. The department of Commerce has been a major section of Yashwantrao Chavan Warana Mahavidyalaya Warananagar. It was started in the very first year, which is 1964. Right from the beginning highly qualified experienced and reputed teachers are associated with the department.

Salient Features of the Department: 

                  Right from the beginning department has highest student strength in the college. The Department provides Career oriented Courses like ‘Certificate Course in Banking, Certificate Course in Retailing, Certificate Course in Insurance and one Skill Development Course- Tally ERP 9.0 With GST.  To promote the holistic development of the students, the department sponsors industrial trips, workshops, guest lectures, seminars, exhibitions, and a variety of competitions.
